Unicorns symbolize creativity, purity, and boundless imagination—qualities that come naturally to children.
Parents can bring unicorn yoga to life with a cozy setup at home. Add some soft lighting, playful props (like sparkly scarves), and calming music. Even five minutes of unicorn yoga can help kids wind down and feel empowered.
By blending the magic of storytelling with the calming benefits of yoga, we give kids the tools to shine like the magical beings they are.
Begin your yoga session by creating a story: the unicorns are on a mission to find 'The Golden Star of Kindness' hidden at the top of Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, they’ll:
🌈Gallop through fields of flowers (Cat-Cow Pose)
🌈 Leap over sparkling rivers (Frog Jumps)
🌈 Glide like a flying unicorn in Warrior III through the cotton candy skies
🌈 Stretch their wings in Butterfly Pose
🌈 Find rest under a magical rainbow in Child’s Pose
✨Stretch your body from side to side (come on your knees, and stretch your side body)
✨Gallop to to Rainbow Mountain! (Cat- Cow Pose) Go in slow motion, because everyone is tired!
✨Ask the children if they can see the Golden Star of Kindness!
✨Can reach for the Golden Stars' rays that shine outwards? (Warior 1, hands reach for the rays)
✨Catch the light and power of compassion and bring it into your heart. (hands to heart)
Now rest on your back, and make rainbows with the legs. Talk about what compassion means.
🌸Compassion means: having a kind heart
🌸Compassion means: being the one that helps when someone is hurting
🌸Compassion means: listening to someone else, also when you have different ideas
🌸Compassion means: giving a hug or a teddy to someone who is sad
🌸Compassion means: when your friend fell, you give them a hand an ask them if they are okay.
